Great shots.

There are an awful lot of moths and most field guides only cover the common ones, even then an ID search can become overwhelming, can't help sorry.

BTW your posting size looks too large 1145 pixels, the maximum is 1024, can you please not post over the maximum size again. Thanks for your understanding.

sorry about that, i do normally keep within but i added a border to the 1024 sized image and forgot it made it oversized.

for IDs just post a pic on wildaboutbritain.co.uk - there is usually someone who knows and you can then double check by going to ukmoths.org.uk

photos on WAB must be first loaded to the gallery and just the link placed in the forum post.

I do have the Waring, Townsend & Lewington field guide but can never find anything in it!
