Do you use the Sunny 16 rule? And is it always accurate?

Only when I forget my light meter or don't have a grey card handy. after awhile of shooting you'll know what to set & then check the histogram to tune it in.

It is a great diagnostic tool for outdoor shooting to keep in the back of your mind. If I am shooting in normal sunlight and the camera meter exposure varies too much from the Sunny 16 exposure I stop and evaluate the histogram to see if the exposure is out of the usable range on either end.
