Got a Canon 450D and 50mm 1.8 a couple of days ago. My first DSLR. Before that i had a Panasonic FZ7.

Here are some of the first shots i took with the Canon.

It's good but I don't like #2 it's not a good shot and I'm not trying to be mean.

The mic shot looks like the death star in space, i like it. the others are kinda your average pics EVERYONE takes with their nifty fifty when they get it....I am guilty as well. But it is a good way to get use to your lens.

I think #2 would have been better if you kept something in focus - as it is, there's really nothing for my eyes to focus on... Everything is really soft.

All of the other photos are great. I'm really digging the mic photo, myself! I took some shots of my mic, a few months ago... I'm going to have to dig that one back up, again, now.

The focus is supposed to be at the 12th fret,the one with the double dots :oops: it's also my favourite pic of them all :lol:

Nice job. I like the headstock pic. I might take a couple pics of my guitar this weekend to post.


I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.
