This is an early chevy I shot in Rochester, NY. anyone know the year?

Took this shot April 12, 2008 mid-afternoon.
17mm @ 1/1000 s, f/5.4 , ISO 200 -- Canon 17-40 L

did some edits to enhance color, enhance texture on the wood grain and building wall. Also gave a slight vignette.

I'd guess 1951 or '52.

It's definitely 47-54 first series...

Hang on a minute.. I found this exact truck picture on E-bay on a 1950 Chevy half-ton...
It has the same watermark but the processing is different. There are other shots of the same truck on there but none bear the watermark. You can do a search for "1950 Chevrolet pickup" and it's the second one in the line-up. Only 11 more hours on the auction and it's going for less than $5k right now...

Interestingly enough, yep that's the one! (I gave that photo to the guy, so in this case it's ok for him to use it on ebay)

Small world for sure

I saw what looked like a 1950~ Ford F2 in a parking lot at the grocery store. didn't get a shot cuz i couldn't frame it properly - between the grocery store (Price chopper) sign in one direction, mobil gas station on the other side, and modern cars all around ...
had a PERFECT sky for it though
