Which shot do you prefer

I took these on Whistler mountain. They are HDR with 3 exposures. I am trying to get the HDR to not look HDR.

Any tips that will help with composition or anyting are greatly appreciated.

First uncropped

i like the cropped version... i'm no expert in HDR, but these look good to me.

The cropped version is much better, the subject becoming the mountains and not the sky as in the first shot. Great use of HDR too, subtle, natural and not overdone (as so many HDRs are!!). Well done.

definately the cropped version. good HDR too.

I would considering cropping more. The grey clouds add very little and are distracting. With a crop just above the peak, the image becomes (in my opinion) even more balanced and interesting.

Gotta side with the crop version on this one. Nice.

Nice clean looking photo. Not over the top HDR.

I like #2 better because the clouds in #1 aren't the focus and are just taking up room. #2 is a great crop.

got to go with 2 also. much more balance to me. oh very nice hdr too.
