this was in felton, california for the roaring cam railroad, I hardly ever get railroad pictures, cause its hard to do in a big city... especially steam but here are a few I got of this iconic locomotive. ITs a narrow gauge shay opreating in redwood country. Also, be easy, these are some of my first train pictures, and they were taken with my canon powershot a650is

I did a story on that old train and the mountain man re-enactors there about 12 years ago for an agency in Paris. That old Shay is in great shape - and burns used motor earl!!.

That's a great looking engine. I could spend a lot of time shooting that.

nah, I rode the diesel.... (which goes to Santa cruz I think).... the steam engine is just in a circle around the area, the diesel goes from the camp to the pier/boardwalk.
