New to the whole DSLR thing so some C&C appriciated.

Cute pets! You cut off a little from the top of each one - maybe it was the framing. I would also suggest a little more depth of field; unless you were really after that shallow dof. You can't go wrong with a cute subject though! :)

Nothing,just some clicking of the fingers for the dog,took about 10 minutes to get her to just stay still and look at me.

As for the cat,i walked into the toilet and it was just sittin in the shower and the lighting was good so i grabbed the camera and took a shot.
