Can files be retrieved from memory cards after they have been deleted?

recently my laptop and HD were stolen containing every picture i have ever taken..is there a way to get those files off a memory card or somehow access the laptop...its a last resort but maybe someone knows how, thanks!

There is recovery programs that might be able to get your most recent pictures off your cards, but don't think that is going to help too much. I don't know what else to tell you. Sorry to hear this has happened to you.

As long as files weren't written over you can recover them from the card. Like mentioned, you'll be able to get the most recent pictures from your card and maybe a few older ones that were not over written.

I use BAD COPY PRO. It will get back every surviving picture off those cards, NO PROBLEM.

I've used this program to retrieve files after the files had been deleted AND the card formatted:
