I hate these threads and I am sure everyone else does too but I am looking for a friend.
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced P&S camera that allows for significant manual control? Shutter Speed, Aperture Control, RAW, Manual Focus, and ISO control would all be great features. I know the G9 and G7 both offer these, trouble is they are a little too pricey. I am Canon biased on all of my knowledge any other good cameras out there I should look at?

Yeah, try the Camedia Olympus 8080Z. That little camera is a blast to use, and you can add a grip, external flash etc.

you don't have to look far, many of the Canon models offer those features, look for Av and Tv mode (with CHDK program RAW)
