I have noticed that when I use a flash or a wirless flash system that the focus point will not registar when in zoombroswer. When I am not using a flash, I always try and focus on the eyes (using the center focus point), as best I can. Many times I will go back and review the pictures to see where it was. If the center focus point is selected and a flash is used, am I to assume that the flash (if on board) aids in the correct focus based off of the center focus point?? Do I make any sense??

bl4scott,
I don't usually use zoom browser, however for me it does show the focus point used when using the 580ex flash even when mounted off the hotshoe (using cable).

I also don't think the flash has anything to do with the focus other then flashing a light to help the camera achieve focus.
