from what i saw here are the details:

10mp
28-560mm (ya 20x)
EVF with articulated LCD
ex-compatible hotshoe
digit iv

since ths is replacing the s5is, it must get new lens. we shall see but it sounds awesome so far :)

If it has the new zoom level, then it has the new lens. Articulated lcd 2.5 or 3 inch?

i don't know. but guessing 3" cause 110is is 3"

as long as it has good pixels also, i can live with either:)

i am imaginng putting raynox 2.5x on it and hunting for bugs;)

The articulating lcd is a feature that I'm looking for.

Yeah people look for the articulation, i've seen them in action on videos, but never used one, though i can see they'd have an advantage in some situations. I think it would be Canons first articulated 3 inch if it comes with one.

It's great for protecting the LCD, and also for overhead or boot-level shots.

I like taking inconspicuous pics where I'm looking at the LCD in one direction, and the subject doesn't realize or suspect that they are in range.
