I have an xti and I am wanting to purchase a couple of AlienBees flash units. Will i need a pc to hot shoe adapter or will it connect to my camera without one?

Another possibility is to use one of the many radio trigger systems available (the transmitters mount on your camera's hotshoe). But it's good to have a hotshoe adapter and PC cord as a backup.
