crop 7x5 problem

Hi, I have an image that I need to crop 7x5 but it won't , irs 2 girls back to back sitting on the floor and the crop cuts off their toes...is there a way of adding more black background so that it will crop 7x5?

There are other ways using layers, but try Image> Canvass size

that's what I thought just add extra black canvas..then recrop ? thanks

If the background is black then yes it's pretty easy to fix. Just expand the canvas and fill with black. But rather than fill with black I would use like an 11X11 sample in your color picker and select the color by clicking on the photo, in case the background isn't true black.
