Hi All,

I have a confession, I didn't take this shot - my Wife did. I have been trying to convince her to take up photography because she loves photographing wildlife, we were in RMNP and she spotted some sheep and grabbed the camera and off she went! Shot with and XTi and a 100 - 400mm L. Not bad for someone that has never studied the hobby, at least in my opinion!

I think she did well, anyone her want to encourage her? I'd appreciate the help....

Dang nice photo dano. At first, I thought that was a glacier in the BG, then I realized it was probably just blue haze against a forested mountain? I was just wondering if you looked at it a little warmer. There is just so much blue sky going on here.

Good shot, indeed. The background is very interesting.

That's a beauty, I might crop a tad on the left but that's just a matter of taste.

Great shot! I know if I got one like it I'd be wanting to frame it and hang it on the wall! Tell your wife to keep shooting.

I would crop it top and left a little, and bump the contrast (because I like more contrast). Still, it is a great capture and she should do more. My wife has a great eye for composition and helps me, but only wants to use her P & S. She gets some great ones with it.

Thanks all, I am trying to convince my wife to take a photography course. I think she appreciates all your positive comments!

She composed the subject nicely. Seems like she has a natural feel for it!
