my friend came over today and brought his nephew with him. he is 6 months old.

Cute kid. I like the second shot. I'd say that the lighting is shining right off his nose and casting a shadow on his neck.


Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

I like both shots but I like the first shot better.

It could stand being lightened a bit and a little more contrast applied. Using Image>Adjustments>Levels....

I love both of them! Great shots. If I could say one thing it's the head cropping on the second one - it would be better if his whole head was in frame.
