Ok this is the last series from Targa West
after recovering from my hangover on sunday morning (courtesy of the Mini Car Club of WA, the stage team for the Racecourse special stage and Toodyay SS on sat)
These photos are from the Racecourse special stage, which was run twice, and from the finish line at the burswood entertainment complex

I know that the Evo in the last two shots looks close to the crowd, but that is just the perspective compression of 400mm worth of lens, there was plenty of room.

Finish line
"were number 1" Steve Jones in the GT-R - the youngest person to win at Targa - 24 years old

Left to Right - Rauri Soutar-Dawson, Alistair McRae, Bill Hayes, Steve Jones

Steve and Rauri won the Modern competition class in a New Skyline GT-R running on normal road tyres, beating porsches and a lamborghini running R Comps (they couldnt find a 20" R Comp, and the rules wouldnt let them run a 19" rim, although they dont think it would have fit over the brakes)
Alistair and Bill won the Classic competition class
