I guess that's what happens when you get caught between the moon and New York City.
(I know it's crazy, but it's true ... maybe it's the best that you can do)
It depends somewhat on where the moon is in the sky (atmospheric magnification which is slight) and the lunar orbit is very slightly elliptical which can also affect apparent size. I checked one of my shots using the same lens and the moon measured about 325 pixels in diameter. The image posted in this thread is a bit smaller in diameter at 284 pixels.
