It's one of those shots that is great because you caught a beautiful moment. It would be nice if they were in clear focus, but still a nice shot.

I think this is a photo that can benefit from a tighter crop. The dood on the left is distracting.

the refuse bin is distracting to me, on the brightside...it does say "Sweet Tart Cafe" whcih could add to this picture.

+1 on the tighter crop proposal.

The guy on the left and the trash can in front add nothing to the context of the frame. They're just useless distractions. It needs a LOT of cropping.

The man to the right has his head in almost the same position. I would ditch the man to the left.

The crop by Mr SDavies is probably how it should be based on the couples expression.

Now if the girl looked like she was getting dumped by the guy then the bin in the foreground would make sense, and maybe even the expression on the face of the guy on the left because he looks like he does not want to be around them.

But the story of the image is dominated by the expressions on the couples face, so crop out all the other stuff that distracts from that.

Ha! You mean the guy in the window? I didn't notice that... but now that I do... it's hilarious!

I agree so tried it.

REMINDER FOR YOU GUYS:

There's a setting in your profile that says whether or not you'd like people to edit and re-post your shots (IMAGE EDITING OK). This is there because some users don't want their shots taken by someone else and fiddled with.

We realize that new users may have overlooked this setting, but that doesn't give you the excuse to go ahead and edit anyway. It's good manners to ask first.

I like this image. Mainly because of the happy couple. But what really makes the picture is the guy with the stroller and his mixed almost sad/serious expression. You could crop it a little in the front, just to reduce the bin a little. But this is a classic.

I have to agree with the majority of the opinions so far in that the shot is way too busy and the guy on the left and the trash can are big distractions. If this has of been a portrait shot of just the couple (without the garbage can), I think it would have been a great shot.

Peace,
Jim
