I think they're both brillian, but if I had to choose, I'd gor for the first ... perhaps it's the hues that has a 'calming' effect on me.

I think I like the first one better also... A little note here this was shot with a 100-400 stopped down to 11 about an hour before sunset the Pacific Ocean is behind me and she is in front of a large tide pool. It was taken at Malibu Beach Ca.

I also like the frist one but would have liked to see her more off center to the left.
