Good start. To improve I would say to use a larger aperture to get the background more blurred. Plus use flash as a fill light.

Other than that pretty good. Its always hard taking photos when there is lots of harsh sun around.

Yikes, don't care for the edits done by Fadetoblack22, looks like she's healing after a bad sunburn. But, he did have good advice.

The original shots are much better. Love the natural smile on shot 2. I always avoid blotchy sun/shade spots for portraits.

Thanks for the comment. we were just trying to get some cute shots before the weather turned bad. Lots of rain in the northwest. I need to find a park with more shade next time.
