I work full time as a reporter now, and its primarily blogging with video and photo-montages in video.

I was a Navy Officer 20 years, and the retirement pay is handy.

I ran an online store for 17 years and just closed it last winter.

Interests in school included photography, computing, public speaking, and politics. All where very helpful in my Navy work, and now as I use speaking and tech in my work.

In the Navy, one of the most popular rates is Photo Mate. Very hard to get that, and to get advanced. They do get to take some cool pics though. However I managed to squeeze off a few shots while I was deployed.

I install, maintain, and repair robotic rehabilitation devices. I travel a lot and carrying my gear is not worth it. I can do anywhere from being home to other side of the US and and back home and then southern US in a week.

I think I answered in this thread a long time ago, but since then, my job has changed.

Currently: AdOps for an app monetization company (few months now)
Previously: Account manager for an SMS company (3 years)
before that: NOC / AdOps for a large social network (4 years)

.com world has been good to me

I work in IT. I'm the network admin for a school. 3 sites, Primary and secondary. So everything from Servers to workstations, print servers, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, basically anything on our network i'm responsible for.

Do I feel i get paid enough for what i do? No chance. However, its a secure job in a tough climate. Photography saves my mentality.
