Click on "Smart Gadgets Catch Crooks" and ignore the ad, but get to the video. A woman left her camera bag in a restaurant and no one turned it in. A week later she found her images on line because her SD card is one of those that go right to download on a photoshare gallery. Very interesting

The head waiter was the thief. Mystery solved. I thought this was interesting.

I know. The report intrigued me, so I watched it. And I was amazed they caught the person who stole the equipment. Then I wondered, why the heck did she put everything in one bag? Indeed, I've left my bag behind numerous times, but once I realize how light my load is, I know I there is something missing, it's usually within 2 minutes of walking out of a place.

My wife just told me about this......I told my wife I was unaware of a memory card that did this but thought it was the attachment for canon that syncs with your computer-- I was wrong--my wife was right.........again.

This is sad but I have never heard of this--- Eye Fi is the card this gal had in her camera--- a SD card. http://www.eye.fi/ (external link)
Looks like the largest is 2gig --- if it was larger would be perfect for my Mark body--- where I shoot back ups on my SD card--- but would need a lot larger card.

Very cool stuff.

Pardon me a moment...

I hate web sites that require you to watch a LONG commercial for EVERY SINGLE VIDEO you want to see. 30 seconds is just too damned long. The commercials are BORING BORING BORING. If you don't like the video you FINALLY get to watch and you switch to a new video YOU HAVE TO WATCH ANOTHER LONG BORING COMMERCIAL. C'mon. How about a cookie or ANYTHING that let's me watch, say, five videos before getting to the next commercial? As it is, I only watch the one video that I was there to watch and then I LEAVE THE SITE when I notice that they want me to spend more time watching commercials (often the VERY SAME ONE) than watching their content. Yeah. I leave. What good is that to their advertising dollar? I hate your site and I leave. Good job there.

... thank you.

Dude.......relax......sit back and watch the water subside in your city and wait for the commercials....because the story is a good one.

I do understand about the stupid ads. It's one of those things that you suffer through. But the story is good, and usually, if I'm really interested, I suffer through the ads.

That was a great story. I've heard of those cards, and it's nice to see that they work - for those who do not know about them that steal cameras and other devices and end up getting caught :D

Thanks for sharing Suzie!

You're welcome, Jeff. I can't believe the thieves didn't know to throw that card away. :)
