Ok, I bought a Power Shot A40 camera 2 years ago and two months later I broke the CD while traveling (Broke in two). Last year my hard drive failed and I had to install the driver from the canon site to be able to use the camera.

NOW I need to be able to stitch together pictures taken in the stitch mode (First time that I really need that mode is TWO years after I buy the camera). What program do I need and where do I get it? (I particularly need the 360 option for a business I'm opening, I need 5 shots).

Can any one help me?

Thanks

Edit: A program to shrink photos would also be helpful cause I would like to take my shots and post them here or make avatars (My shots are the usual 640 x 480, which are too big to post here)

Hi,
I am suggesting to try Canon's webpage and the download options there. The software you need to put panorama pictures together is "PhotoStitch" and Canon's software to modify and view images is "FileViewerUtility" (creative names, aren't they :) )
I am wondering if you had this softwares together with your A40 when you purchased it? I have a G3 and have 3 CD-s in the kit, with all the necessary softwares!

Edited to add:
here is a link to another stich-program which called 'Panorama factory'. I usually use PhotoStitch from Canon, but a few of my photo-buddies are using Panorama Factory and they say it is really good. But it is not a freeware, you have to buy it
You can take a look at it here:
