Hi just a few of the many shots I took at Duxford. The weather was not very kind to us and most of the shots I took were agains a bright overcast sky, not ideal :(.

All shot taken with the 1Dm3/100-400L zoom, 400ISO and quite heavily cropped.

Great shots.
Isn't the lightbox weather better than bright sunshine? ....and not as hot ;)

Nice job there. Looks like you had the same back gound problems I had. I am working P&P mine. I am trying to do it with out Layers (because I just learning). That would be to easy to make to layers and turn one blue. LOL
Did you do much P&P on these or is the 1Dm that much better.

These were shot as RAW and PP done in LightRoom with just the exposure and levels adjusted. I've had the 1Dmk3 for about 6 months now and I'm delighted with it.

Thanks you, the sound was amazing too.

The thing with that bugs me about the Spitfire formation shot, is that this was my first ever air show shoot. I was going backward and foward with the shutter speeds for jet & prop planes and I forgot to change back to a slower shutter speed. So all the props are frozen .

I bet it did sound amazing.

About the props...I've done that before too...and let me tell you, I didn't even notice until you pointed it out . Guess the props being perpendicular to the sensor plane help with the illusion of moving props on that one. ;)

Very nice set! The F-86 shot is my favorite.
