Things I noticed:

  • has viewfinder
  • lo-res LCD
  • 1.2" macro (good enough)
  • No manual mode
  • 30 fps video
  • AA battteries

How so? Doesn't look much different from the SX100, SX-110 series, or assorted Nikons, Olympii, or Panasonics (we won't talk about S*ny or H-P).

No Manual Mode

PROS:
f/2.7 at the short end
Has a Tripod Mount
Uses AA batteries
Has a viewfinder

CONS:
115,000 pixel LCD
Movie clips are limited
Tripod Mount looks like plastic
No Manual mode (a deal breaker)
