Apart from the phyical differences the longer legs make such as additional weight and longer folded length, the tripods are the same.

Plus GT2541L is discontinued...replaced by GT2542L, which I believe has 3 stops on leg angle vs. 2 for the 2541...plus a head lock screw. John
