1DSMKIII + Canon 180mm Macro lens

Anyone shooting with this combo? Like it? Any other options Canon lens wise for macros anyone likes?

Um yeah that's a pretty sweet rig...but the ultimate set-up is the MP-E 65 + MT-24 speedlite.

Um, yea, the 1Ds Mark III with the 180L and MP-E 65 with the MT-24EX Twin Light Flash would be the best macro setup money could buy.

It also is however WAY overkill for 99.99999998% of the people in this world.

Well I am looking to try out osme new stuff as i am not doing much motorsports anymore. Since I have two 1dsmkIII's (sold my 1dmkIII and got another 1dsmkIII) thought I would give macro a shot.

Hehe that's everyone but about one and a third persons.

I'm curious, do these lenses use the sensor to it's full potential? What I mean to say is that yes, they are L lenses, but do they have enough resolving power to take advantage of the high pixel sensor?
