Got round to looking at some more of the stuff from last weekend, unfortunately my day job gets in the way of image processing!

Here's some of them, still 1500+ to go, need to stop taking so many!

Thanks for looking and C&C most welcome, I am always looking to improve.

Wow, these are bloody awesome. I was just to the left of where I think you must have been. I tried a few on the entry to the chicane but not enough reach. Great shots. Whats focal length are they and how cropped are the images??

Hi, thanks for the comments, f/l varies - I try to get some close up and some a bit wider, I have the Canon 100-400, but it has a 1.6 crop factor on the old 20D I have. I try not to crop too much because I only got 8MP in each one and can look grainy when blown up to larger print sizes.

Where did you take the dry track shots from?

They're all excellent, 5 & 7 would be my first choice, not keen on the tilting though.

As a personal preference I would also have left a bit more room at the front for the bikes to run into if you see what I mean, and possibly show a bit more of the reflection in #7.

Thanks Swiss, comments appreciated. Sometimes I tend to crop 4x3 or 3x2 and this leads to some elements of the shot being sacrified, as you point out the reflection of Haga in the rain puddle woud have looked good.

The shot of Greg Lavilla (36) is my favourite of the ones I have processed.

I need a tool that lets me review multiple images on a page at a size where I can see when they are OOF etc to speed up my workflow in processing. God knows how the pros do it - they probably hire an assistant or be much more picky! :D

Does everyone tend to do sized cropping or just free cropped to give the most pleasing image?
