What is the difference between Gitzo tripods models or types: Leveling, Explorer, Mountaineer, Systematic?

Yes, and i saw those models, but where i can read about the difference between those, only by reading all tripods specifications?

Pull down the Gitzo 2008 catalog. It has explanations of the different types.

Leveling: ideal support for Fluid Head
Explore: leg can be set at any angle and move independently while the center column tils and rotate freely to any position
Systematic: special design. Can serve for Video purpose since you can put in 75mm or 100mm half ball adapter

The catalog can be downloaded from the main page, middle of the right hand side of the page.

I went for the 6x Mountaineer, GT2531.

Traveller - seemed too light.
Leveler - wasn't something that I thought would be too useful.
Explorer - looked interesting but had lots of moving parts which makes me feel it would be flimsy.
Mountaineer - good simple tripod design.

I think picking out a tripod was the most research I have had to do for any of my photography equipment. Once I get to play with my tripod a little I plan on doing a review.

I seem to have always leaned more towards the mountaineers as my larger second tripod.

Leveling: Same as the "Mountaineer", except it has a "leveling" center column,.
Explorer: Legs can be set at any angle, centre column as well.
Systematic: Wider base, optional center column / video bowl / leveling base, and (depending on type) an additional leg angle (gets lower).
Mountaineer: "standard" tripod.

Now with that information, which one to go with?
I have GT1540T, so lightweight for travel, love the folded length but the tripod is not sturdy enough.
I have GT5540LS, my best tripod so far and i don't think of another to use in my country.
Now as long i can't take 5540 due to weight and my 1540T is not very sturdy, so which tripod can be in between? not so heavy and can be folded to small length [at least not above 55 or 60cm].
