1) What are you shooting Cars, Models, both ?
2)Typically hot lights are a very different color temperature then your strobes. You may have to gel the strobe.
If you are going to be shooting a car its going to be difficult but its possible and will cost you some more change depend on what look you are trying to achieve. A little more information will help someone here guild you in the right direction

You are going to try and light a model and a car with a 380 and some hot lights? I would rent some strobes, at least 2-3. cars are very hard to light right, even with alot of light.

Cars aren't hard to light, but you do need the right lights to start with. Large diffused light sources are good for showing the shape and gloss of a cars surfaces and shape. I couldn't have done this with a single light, or small sources.

However, you can also light it with smaller lights as long as you are not trying to light the entire car, and the car is secondary to the main subject. In that case you use get away with less lights and using different angles to accentuate parts of the car, but not all of it. If you try to get it all without the right lighting, you spend so much time chasing reflections and trying to eliminate or reduce them.

Keep in mind too anything around the car will be reflected in the cars finish, especially if its a dark color. So plan your shot carefully, and check the car for reflections often while shooting.
