I would like to see combination of the two. In first one light trails are nice
but the dashboard is too dark. In the second shot the dashboard is nicely
lit but there are no light trails.
Where did you mount your camera?

a mix of both, dash on the first looks best, but outside view on the 2nd looks best.

haha what ^^ said above... just saw what he said.

I agree, the new edit looks much better. More detail than the second one!

I like the basic idea you've got here but I think if the camera was pointed more towards the instrument panel it'd've worked better.

I like it. But a hand on the wheel would make it better. We know it is not driving it self, so a hand on the wheel ill make it seem more real.

Street lights on right hand side are white due to over exposure.
That happens easily when the lights are bright but you still want
to have some detail on dark dashboard. It would look much better to see
some coloured lights IMO. I post an example so you get the idea what I mean by
coloured light trails.
