My first photo's on POTN :)

Well, here are some pictures I took of my 1960 VW Beetle. I'm photographing about 1.5 year right now, and I think 1 year with a flash.

All pictures were taken with my Canon EOS 400D (Rebel XTi) and a Tamron 17-50 2.8 lens which I think is great. I've got a wireless 430EX right now, but some pictures are taken with a Falcon Eyes studio flasher with a softbox.

Great shots! I wish I had an old bug like that. They are getting rather hard to find.

I like that top shot with the inside lights on. Makes it look kind of alive not just a car, it gives it a persona.

Wow, thanks for all the response. I made the one on the top yesterday, I'm kinda pleased with it too.

A very nice set of photos, and I also like the interior light on shot for the different look it brings. Well done with interesting backdrops that work nicely. I also like them because I have a 71 convertible that I have to complete the restoration to. It belonged to a friend who I was teaching my trade to, but unfortunately he died of a snowmobiling accident, so I bought it to complete.

A skill is developed through constant practice with a passion to improve, not bought.

Welcome to the forum! I enjoy your shots, the one in the garage with the light hanging is #1 for me in all of your great captures.

Your Beetle looks wonderful. My father had a VW before I was born. Sure wish he was alive to tell me about all the fun he had driving it....
