Soon the car will be lowered and have some Porsche 356 wheels. Can't wait to make even better pictures of the car then !

Wonderful shots and a nice car. I really liked the cows and the last one. I had a bug for quite a few years. Mine was a ’67 so I actually had one extra gauge on the dash. I put over 200k miles on that car as a teen in just over 3 years and it had almost 100k when I bought it for $100, so I figure the car cost me one dollar for every 2000 miles not counting gas and oil. Lets see a new car do that today.

That Bug looks very original.... right down to the motor!

The bug is indeed very original. And Swedish indeed. I think it keeps the original motor but I would like to put a TDE, Riechert, Speedwell or whatever kit in there, just for the looks of it. Old speed is my thing. I've got some genuine Porsche 356A wheels here so these will come on the car very soon, once it's lowered.

The Hazet assistents are pretty cheap in Holland, bought this one for about 75 dollar. It is indeed a nice vintage trolly for the workshop. Fits the Beetle if you ask me. And it's filled with Hazet tools .

Your '52 Barndoor Panel is almost my favourite van. I always wanted a nice lowered dove blue panel, and this is even a barndoor on sprintstars. Wow, cool. Are these OG. Empi sprintstars ?

You should add some vintage tuning too man, way cool car.

Yep... Oldspeed is the way to go for sure.

Until recently my Van was fitted with a Judson, looked pretty cool under there, but, I went over a big bump on the way back from a Porsche meeting, the accererator pump jet came out of the carb and fell down into the spinning Judson... I can rebuild it, just not got round to it yet.

You might be able to make out the Judson sticker in the rear window!

I can't find a picture right now, but if you take a look in the 'My Cars' section on my site you will find my old '63 Bug, the Judson was fitted to that first, there is a picture of it.

I nearly went the 356 route with my Van, would have done Engine, Trans., and Brakes.... would have been nice!

Well spotted on the wheels.... they are OG, 4½ " on the rear, 4" on the front.

Frickngroovn very nice flat four, is that seafoam green? my brothers friend that used to own the machine shop at "volkscafe" had a 56 ragtop with 356 super 90 engine, custom pistons with autocraft cylinders, turbo, with water injection, 356 aluminum heat sink hubs with full floating motorcycle disc brakes and big calipers that car was scary fast! PS, I had an interesting conversation with an older gentleman regarding old single carb's with preheaters, something about that fuel line leading from the pump, and vapor lock.. There was mention of having a couple coils of metal tube, where yours has the coathanger bend in it, to act as a heat sink, they would lay a rag on the fuel lines leading to the carb, and on the fuel line leading from the firewall to the pump, then pour water on the rags, the wet rag would cool the fuel line off enough to re-condense the gasoline in the line and get the pump working again, and get them going.. First time I heard a real solution to fixing the vaporlock, other than waiting for the whole thing to cool off, or CPR on the gas tank..
