It's about being aware of what's happening in your shot. Granted that it's hard to see what's happening when you're shooting a moving car, but there's no reason not to shoot extra shots & throw out the "Pole shots"? It's not as if you had to pay for film? I don't mind the trees in that one. They lead into the car. I think you might have cropped it better, though. Is the car the subject, or the landscape with the car in it? Hard to say without seeing the shot. I don't mind it in that particular shot. IMO, with a good background, there's nothing growing out of the car.
actually you have seen the shot! In fact you were the first to reply... and you mentioned the pole... LOL!

Originally I was going to throw the pole shot out... but as it turned out it ended up being one of my friends favorites! So I guess it's true, one man's garbage is another man's treasure! LOL!
As I mentioned, the rolling shots were very spontaneous... very spur of the moment... stick your camera out the window and see what happens! LOL! So really there was no way to get more shots... BTW, we were on that short section of M-59, east of I-75, where it's just 2 lanes... you can only hold up traffic for so long... LOL
Normally i do try make sure the backgrounds are nice and clean... but some times you just can't help it... and you have to make due with what you've got.
