im new and got a canon d30.
cant seem to use do to error messege 84.
trying to format memory card...
using a 4 gb compact flash card.....do i need to send it in to be repaired?

THANKS!!!! Have you tried formatting a smaller capacity card, something less than 2 GB? The D30 uses FAT16 so 2 GB would be the upper limit of what it can address. ...Leo

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.
