Is it bad to buy a used Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 with the date code UJ? The lens it self is in decent condition, but I was wondering if there was anything else I should consider, lol

All the internal components are the same. I'd worry about a very old IS unit, but for a non-IS, if it's a good deal, I'd go for it. Name is Peter and here is my gear:
