Looks like you were around for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Nope. Unfortunately, I missed it by about two years. POTN started in 2001.

Oh well, I'm sure you don't mind not being part of free doughnut Tuesdays. I've had the opportunity to experience the new forum smell twice, actually. POTN has run on three different forum software packages since I started hanging out in here. But, I gotta admit. The donuts smell better... My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

At least, they sure make it look like that... Not all of them. Just some of the more popular ones. In fact, a lot of the ones that require swimming also require permits. Becky N wrote in post #6446263 Beth and I were the oldest, I miss Beth. Then John came in a knocked the crowns off our heads with his cane. :p ROFL!! Becky N wrote in post #6446263 Good inspiration there Cat. Do you take any chronjointin/glucocimine (sp?)? I have for a couple years now and it has done wonders for my knees. No I don't. But I should. Cat -the femine feline with the namby arms. Loquacious, but not to a fault.

In fact, he didn't like those guys nosing around under that canopy, (they had wrecked our neighbors Saturday morning) so, he bursts out of the tent and grabs the ax! Trys chasing them away, with no luck. He could of knocked em over the head with no problem Good morning Deb!! And thank you Becky N wrote in post #6446263 Nice racks. Do they have signs not to approach or feed? This time of year, those bucks can get mean....as we say here...Bucks! ![]() They do have signs up about not petting the deer or feeding them. My MIL called last night and said she has a friend with 200 acres that need their deer population thinned. I may look into that and stock the freezer this year. Many parts of the states especially in the suburban areas in the east are over run with high white tailed deer populations. We see them in packs of 15 or more. Do whats right HERE
