I was on my feet all day, but wanted to say that I LOVE my rapid strap!!! I had my regular neck strap on and my camera started feeling to heavy, so I changed over and it was really great to just let it go when I had too and to take the weight off my neck. I really like the R-strap. Even with a relatively heavy set up, I can go all day. Skrim17 wrote in post #6443318 Oh and lovely color changing leaves Dan. Thanks. Skrim17 wrote in post #6443309 I also decided I want the 24-105L as my 17-55 wasn't long enough and my 70-200 was too long!! I've had this issue before and thought about it but now I really want one!! If only the 24-105 was f/2.8... and if only the 24-70 had IS.... chemicalbro wrote in post #6443397 just looked at the R-strap.... very interesting. I may invest in one as my neck was killing me today whilst shooting those models (the 5D 100-400 combo weighs a bloody ton) so much so that i ended up changing it to the 100 macro simply because of the weight. (but then I had to get dangerously close to blades spinning at 2000RPM ) I don't want to sound like some sort of R-Strap fanboy, but it's very easy to use and great for those days when you do a lot of shooting. 3Turner wrote in post #6444311 I couldn't imagine going up Walter's Wiggles. My knees hurt just looking at that shot. Same here! cfpackerfan wrote in post #6444357 Tevin saved up for months to get the Indiana Jones one, and when he finally had enough, he changed his mind and got the BatMan one. Whoa... wait... there's a Batman one? cfpackerfan wrote in post #6444476 There are a couple parts of the hike where it is only a one way, along the side of the cliff, and you have to hold on to a chain that is anchored to the side of the mountain. No way. cfpackerfan wrote in post #6446881 Mark, go to the hikes link again: http://www.utah.com …ks/zion/hiking_trails.htm Click on "Angel's Landing" and when the page comes up, click on "Photo Tour" at the top. Check out some of those spots there. (Oh and the photos show it as a busy trail... there are only a few times when it's like that. Holiday weekends, and photo tours.)No FREAKIN' way. CrazieCricket wrote in post #6446889 They do have signs up about not petting the deer or feeding them. But people never listen. either that or can't read. I was shocked they were letting their kids so close to them. Those bucks may seem friendly but you never know about wild animals. I got about 6 ft away to take a couple of the pics and even that made me nervous. Those guys aren't scared at all, you can walk right up to them and grab their antlers if you want. I didn't want Something about large wild animals armed with very large and sharp antlers on of their skulls is just enough for me to not really get too friendly with them. short5 wrote in post #6447011 I am alive just laying low I guess, thanks for asking. Nice shots everyone. Dan I loved the fall leaf rant. D the Africa shots are always nice. Glad you're OK, Zane. Nice to see you again. short5 wrote in post #6447067 Deer playing. I just have to do a bunch of research. ![]() I hate it when someone hands me a P/S to take a picture of them. They automatically assume that, because I have a DSLR, I know all things about cameras. cfpackerfan wrote in post #6447670 No darlin. It's the B-52's. Whoo Hoo! Rock Lobst... Oh, yeah. How about Love Shac.... Yeah, OK. I miss all the fun. I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.
