Gotta love that Gaussian blur filter.... :D

Love those bird houses, too. Lots of time devoted to that hobby.

TERRI: This is a "still" from an upcoming LOTRR strip, but I like how it turned out...

Bagged one;)

News of a different sort:

Because of our recent car troubles, it was looking like I wasn't going to be able to go up to help shoot that wedding with Lisa up in Washington. Recent events, however, have changed that outlook. It looks like Chris (TD) will take me up there, will help us shoot the wedding, partly because he wants the experience before he has to shoot his first wedding in October and partly because he's a very nice guy. In exchange for this gesture, I'm going to be his second shooter for that October Wedding.

Not too sure if that's a blessing for him, or a curse.

That's great. I'm sure the results will be very good! Have fun guys!

all went well with the B&G today. We seemed to really mesh. I didn't know at the time that I'd be having backup (YAYAYAYAYAAY!!) so we talked over tons of details and this is going to be the least restricted (time wise as well as actual restrictions) wedding I've had to do. I'm very happy about that.

Just giving an update. No sign of little's little yet...lots of braxton hicks but no real stuff yet.

Sfather is doing well again, actually was coherent today...so lots of good news!

TTYL :)

That's even greater!

Good morning everyone. I haven't been able to process any shot yesterday and probably won't be able to do any today. BUT, I have plenty in stock to entertain you ;-)a

So, without further delay, morning Africa shot...

Awww stripped horse. As a horse owner I must say he looks really clean and has a nice coat. Was it a young one?

Nothing like a good dust bath:) Great shot. Unless that is the same bra in both images and his neck is stretched in the first I would say the first guy is young. His neck looks thin like a youngster and not much hair in his ears.

Unless I'm mistaken, the first one is one of those guys. It is definitely not a baby. But he may still be young...

Wow. The 5DMkII thread got 250 posts in two hours... That's faster than we go on here.

It's just like I figured would happen. The larger percentage of those posts are complaining about how everthing about this camera is all wrong.

Is it out and these are new owners or just the peanut gallery? I already know who is there:roll:
I will sit that one out. I would love a used MkI.

It's not out yet. And there is no review either, just the official announcement.

The specs are up on Canon's USA site and dpreview has an announcement also. The majority of the complaints are about the fact it does 1080p HD video...

Might be right up your alley, Zane. You can kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

I'm waiting to see what it does to used (and new) 5D Mk1 prices.
