HS Football - TX Week 3

My third time covering HS football and I finally felt fairly comforatable. Now to start turing that into results.Comments Welcome... and yes the lights were GREAT!

3200ISO @ 1000s. Exif is there. Nice shots! I wish my MIIN would handle 3200 like that.

make that two of us...well MkII but close enough. great images Eigga. I shot last night for the first time with the 300 and f2.8 3200 and 1/500 was not attainable under the lights. I shot about a quarter and went home. Do I need to move to your neck of the woods??? :lol::lol:

I have to say these are some of the best High School football pictures I've seen here. Especially with a night game. What lens do you use?

Thanks everyone. These were all taken with the 300 2.8

I am very happy with the Mark III at 3200 ISO. I have no issues using it, as you see I was at 1/1000 and decided the increased shutter was well worth the difference in noise between 1600 and 3200 ISO

How do you prevent the red eye effect?

No flash used so no red eye to worry about. If you use flash there are several post that discuss how to avoid red eye.
