Clivia taken with EF28-70mm f/2.8L USM and a 40D: 70mm, F10, 1/10th of a second +0.25 exposure correction.

I agree the first is very pretty. The second needs a better background.

I agree with the background of 2#. Thanks for the comments. I always use the available background, but it may be an option to take one with.
