thanks guys, i am learning a lot and here just a few more to show it, not trying to bump the thread, but just want to share.......and ill probably lay off any further flash photography for the time being as its just not mine yet it seems.

I like the first two shots...the shot of the garlic reminds me of something I might see on one of my recipe cards. The drink shot is very well done...good use of colors and lines and here I think the limited DOF works well. The lemon shot however...again here the image is mostly oof and I think it's due to too shallow of a DOF. It does look like you're on the right path though...keep at it and I'm sure you'll get it!

The garlic one is great, except for the cut one.it looks like a worm crawling out!:eek:

Drink one is also well done, perhaps the Bg is to busy though? My eyes go towards the lines instead of the glass?
