I have a Novoflex bellows unit that I used many years ago with my Canon FD equipment. It was outfitted with a 1960's vintage Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 105/3.5 short mount lens. After finding an adapter and two step rings, I was able to mount it to my 5D with the MT-24 twin lite. Since we're having to endure Hurricane Ike, thought I'd spend the time indoors playing with the old gear. The lens is almost 45 years old, the bellows unit about 30, but they still work great matched up with digital:

Proves quality never loses it's usefulness. A little effort and you got excellent results, thanks for sharing

Thanks. I was actually surprised at the condition of the bellows. No special storage requirements...kept in its original box, and placed in a plastic tote tub (like you find at any discount store) for about the past 20 years with the rest of my older gear. I thought for sure that it would have cracks and light leaks, but no such thing. Still nice and pliable and air-tight...

Its been quite a while since I played with this bellows unit, and will probably be a bit longer before I try to swing an MPE-65 into my arsenal. Can any of the macro experts here shed some light on me trying to figure out the magnification ratio that this bellows/lens can provide? I'm a bit rusty in that department. Thanks.
