I know the battery pack is probably the best, but what is good when you don't get the battery pack? Should I go rechargeable AA's or what should I use to give me the best recycle time?

THX!

Don't know about recycle times but I chose rechargable Sanyo Eneloops after reading many threads on the subject here on POTN.

I'm from the UK so we don't have that store. But do a search for "eneloops" here on POTN and you should find the best retailer for price in your country.

If you cannot get the Sanyo enoloops locally where you are, I find that any of the "new generation" rechargables that do not lose power while standing and come pre-charged on purchase work very well. Get unbelievable number of shots with them.

PowerEx NiMH cells have a good reputation. Most NiMH cells are decent.

pearstone are okay..
but when i got a set of eneloops the other day i immediately noticed the difference,
its so much better to spend the extra $ on something that will hold its charge better, hold more and essentially allow you to get more out of less batteries

no complaints with energizer 2200, 2500, 2450 and duracel 2650

but i noticed my widely used energizer 2500s sometimes dont like being charged in the 15min energizer charger anymore...i gotta put them in the slow charger for about 15 mins before i can put them in th 15 mins charger

when im pressed for time...the 15min charger is a life saver when i needa charge 20 batteries
haha

If you can't find Eneloops, Rayovac Hybrids work just as well.

Don't buy "CTA Digital" batteries from B&H. My Maha C-9000 reports their capacity as 700mah - 1400mah, nowhere near the rated 2700mah. I'm going to return them.
