I know the battery pack is probably the best, but what is good when you don't get the battery pack? Should I go rechargeable AA's or what should I use to give me the best recycle time?

My Maha C-9000 reports their capacity as 700mah - 1400mah, nowhere near the rated 2700mah. I'm going to return them.
