Long story short, i was out at the local skatepark doing some photos of bmx for my friends, just a simple play around shoot. A girl i know wanted me to take a picture of her and her friend, completely random. It was a "hey take a picture of us!" so i turned and aimed and snapped one.
these are the 2 results i got, yes the taller girl's eyes are closed. yes the blonde hair is blown out.
looking for some CC on my first random time crunched portrait.
i need some tips and advice on photoshoping portraits, smoothing skin and other small things like that. as ive never done it and dont know where to start.
they were shot in jpeg for speed of editing, on the 2nd i tried to recover the taller girl's skin tones and ended up cutting it off so that her back wasnt dark, and you can see the line where the front of her shoulder is tan and the back side looks like its white and has less contrast.
first one- sun was behind her on the left side so i was aimed towards the sun.
2nd, the sun was behind me, on the left side of the picture
