Hey Chauncey,
I don't think the crop needs to be quite as tight as Walter provided, but it does certainly need to be tighter. Also, in this particular shot I also have to honestly say that I don't really care for "the pose" of the GB. I'm not trying to be rude here, but to me this shot looks like it was poorly timed. Clearly the bird is fishing here and looks to have something "in his sights", but I would have waited until he had the fish in his beak instead of leaning over it like he is here.
It's really a very lovely scene so personally I'd keep trying until you get the shot(s) that your after! Sooner or later you'll nail it
