Others use Pelican 1514 + backpack so either way its a two piece solution. I wonder how long I have to hang out on POTN before I get as good as Ansel Adams ?

Little bit of extra security for when you're travelling in unfamiliar places. The Whickey and Cox ought to be carry-on compatible and fits at least a 15" laptop; not sure about a 17" though. Might need the one size up for that. Gear Listhttp://www.codastudios.com.au

However what immediately comes to mind is the the 'original' Lowe Pro Stealth backpack. It is now discontinued, but it can be found quite a few places by looking around. The first post I wrote for Flying With Fish back on the 4th of December 2006 was about packing a Stealth Backpack. The beauty in the Stealth backpack is that it can carry a little or carry a lot and still maintain a low profile and be comfortable on your back. The laptop sleeve is removable,so you can use your own (and I know many people who do). Check out what I have stuffed in mine here: http://flyingwithfish.blogspot.com …-niantic-connecticut.html i know, but w/o my laptop its impossible for me to see my work. im thinking to bring another bag for my laptop, i know its going to be hard for i have 9 month daughter. you have some nice set up from your photos. i probably have to fit all my gear to the lowerpro flipside 200 and pray.=D Ben

Sep 17, 2008 08:07 | #15 I have enlisted the aid of a ThinkTank Airport Acceleration for my travel needs. It fits all standard carry-on sizes for domestic and international traveling. I use Lowepro bags when I'm traveling by car because Lowepro's are bigger than ThinkTank's when it comes to carrying the same amount of gear and it is a pain in the butt to deal with those waist straps when flying. ThinkTank has the waist straps too, but they stash into the bag, and so do the shoulder straps.
