Can Sunpak TR Pak II (C batteries pack) owners show me the picture of the TR Pak's battery compartment?
Also, is it possible to modify a NiCd pack to use C batteries?
Thanks

The chargers for my packs use input- 120 volts AC 60 Hz 8 watts output- 9 volts DC 400 Ma My instructions say you can use 6 nicad C cells but the pack does not have any means of holding the C cells or connecting them to the business part of the battery pack. You would have to make up your own C cell battery holder and connector. The replacement battery cluster for the pack are still available for the pack for about $59.95 from BHPHOTOVIDEO. The charger is out of stock. If I were going to make up my own battery cluster I would use 6 AA nimh batteries instead of nicad C cells. The 6 AA nimh batteries would have as much power as the 6 nicad C cells. And I was told by Sunpak/Tocad "expert" that nimh batteries can be used in place of nicad batteries in all of the newer strobes. However THIS IS NO GUARANTEE and YOU ARE PROCEEDING AT YOUR OWN RISK. Thanks raymushgrush!
