Is there a big difference in these flash guns please i need to know before i bid on the Metz 54-MZ3 i wont be doing anything fancy just straight forward flash thank you...Ray

It would not be compatible with Canon wireless, although it is compatible with Metz wireless. Lastly, the Metz 54MZ has a very accurate and reliable Auto photosensor mode, unlike the very variable shot-to-shot results that ETTL results in! You need to give me OK to edit your image and repost!
